New Reading Programs to Enhance Reading Skills in Children

In some communities, it is hard for both children and their parents to get access to reading materials. As a means of intervention, Art of a Child, a non-governmental organisation, set up of group of literacy clubs both in different schools and communities to fight illiteracy.

In some communities, it is hard for both children and their parents to get access to reading materials.
As a means of intervention, Art of a Child, a non-governmental organisation, set up of group of literacy clubs both in different schools and communities to fight illiteracy.
The clubs are equipped with various reading materials at all levels, to enable them teach children during their free time away from school.

The organisation uses literacy clubs, mobile libraries for slums, literacy camps, literacy centres, book clubs in schools, World Read Aloud Day (Advocacy Day) to sensitise people about the value of reading.
