Why Art Therapy
Art helps children with cognitive development, expressing their feelings, developing coping skills, and building self-esteem. It can be especially beneficial for children who have difficulty communicating their feelings verbally. Art also helps children reflect on the lessons learned during any topic presented to them.
S.L.A.S.H/G Programming
Since our establishment in 2016, Art of a Child has been committed to addressing the deficit in quality
education by passionately advocating for and delivering comprehensive and inclusive educational
solutions for the children of Uganda. This commitment is manifested through our innovative S.L.A.S.H/G programming, which encompasses Science, Literacy, Arts, Sports, Health, and Gender Equity initiatives.
